Cantilever Racks are often seen in Lumber Yards for storing lumber. This is why cantilever racks are also commonly referred to as lumber racks. There is no better way to organize lumber than with a lumber rack. Lumbers racks can be ordered by part or preconfigured.
Designing your Rack
A Plus Warehouse is here to help you find the perfect cantilever rack to fit your needs. Here are a few questions we always ask:
Are you looking for single or double sided uprights?
What column height are you looking for?
How many uprights are you looking for?
What capacity do you need per arm?
Do you prefer straight or incline arms?
How many arms are you looking for per column per side?
What size arms are you looking for?
Do you need arm lips?
What spread are you looking for between uprights?
What are you storing?
Overhang Calculation
When ordering cantilever racks, customers must also consider the total overhang.
The equation is as follows: (1/ # of arms) X Product Length
For example, a 20 foot run with four arms would be (1/4) X20 equals 5 feet. This would be 2.5 foot overhang on each side.
