Bubble Top
Bubble top matting is a classic choice, offering dependable performance. It encourages users to make constant micro-adjustments to posture while working. Good posture is key! Bubble top is made of solid rubber that won’t compress. The “bubble” of the mat makes the surface non-slip as spilled liquids roll over the raised bubble domes and settle in the gaps between.
Economy Bubble Top Anti-Fatigue Mat
Our economy bubble top anti-fatigue mat is recommended for dry environments. It features ¾” thick vinyl bubble-top surface. The mat has beveled edges on all four sides and comes in different colors including black, black with yellow, and gray.
Diamond Plate
Diamond plating, also known as tread plating, is commonly seen on metal stairs, corners guards, and wall panels. Traditional diamond plating is metal. The matting industry took inspiration from this type of design and manufactured diamond plate style mats. Due to the nature of matting, the material used is rubber as opposed to metal.
Diamond plate rubber safety mats have a regular pattern of raised diamonds to protect surfaces. They are stylish and provide a forgiving surface that can absorb impact and shock.
Diamond Plate Anti-Fatigue Mat
Our diamond plate anti-fatigue mat is a great choice for assembly lines and workstations. The durable vinyl skin surface is permanently bonded to a buoyant sponge backing. The diamond pattern and beveled edges help prevent slipping.

Wearwell Ultra Soft Tile Top Mat
Our Wearwell Ultra Soft Tile Top Mat is 7/8” thick. This product is for the customer who wants ultimate comfort. The mat also comes in different colors including charcoal, gray, and blue.
Types of Materials
PVC Vinyl
PVC Vinyl is a lower cost solution for quality comfort. These mats are susceptible to rippling and cracking. Therefore, we suggest one whose surface is molded, not glued to the foam base. When wet, many do no reach requirements for slip resistance.
Nitrile Rubber
Nitrile rubber is the best if you are looking for grease resistance, you see them in fields such as aircraft fuel systems, off-road equipment, and marine fuel systems. It is specifically designed for harsh environments. This type of rubber is a synthetic rubber derived from acrylonitrile and butadiene.
Nitrile rubber is resistant to many chemicals including but not limited to bleach, cutting oil, diesel, gasoline, lubricating oils, anti-freeze, and isopropyl alcohol.
Polyurethane
Polyurethane is the most expensive of the three materials. This type of matting is great for dry environments. The mats are heat safe up to 400 degrees. Polyurethane can be rigid or flexible. The material is super tough!
Interlocking Mats
Interlocking matting is a convenient and easy matting solution. Due to its nature, it is easy to customize to the size you need. These mats create a seamless and continuous surface. You will often see them in the food service industry.
Wearwell Interlocking Anti Fatigue Mats
These mats are highly recommended for multi-shift operation. It is made with ultra soft 68 durometer material. This product is great for heavy foot and light cart traffic. The product is available in both open grid and solid style. We also offer ramps, outside, and insider corners at the bottom of the page.
Grease Resistant Mats
Grease resistant mats, just as the wearwell interlocking anti-fatigue mats, are available with both open grid and solid style. There are different levels of grease resistance. The black color is grease resistant and the red color is grease proof. See additional ramps at the bottom of the page.

These mats are meant for your commercial kitchen, specifically for food prep and bar areas. It can withstand industrial chemicals, cutting fluids, oils, and greases. The large hole drainage system facilitates the removal of liquid and debris from the work area.

Kitchen Grid Mats
Kitchen grid mats are slip-resistant. The mats are chemically resistant and feature an open surface that allows for draining. The mat also features anti-fungal and anti-microbial protection.
Industrial Food Service Mats
The industrial food service mats are ideal for individual food prep areas. The mat is made of solid rubber compound with drainage holes that minimize slipping. The mat features broad beveled borders on all four sides. Choose between grease resistant and grease proof options.
Food Service Matting
Food Service Matting features four molded beveled edges which improves safety and provides easy cart access. The mat can withstand harsh chemicals while creating a slip resistant surface. The large and small drainage holes allow for quick drainage of liquids. The mat is ½” thick with sizes ranging from 3’ X 6’ to 3’ X 20’.
Passport Food Service Mat
The passport food service mat provides safe footing in wet or high-grease work areas. The raised nubs reduce slippage as well as fatigue. The mat is made with resilient rubber construction and is easy to clean. The overall width of the mat is ½” thick.
ESD Matting
ESD matting makes for a safe working environment around electronics. These types of mats protect workers form potentially deadly electric shock, and sensitive components from static discharge.
The matting slows down the flow of static charge. Most of our ESD matting is made with vinyl or rubber material.
Switchboard Matting
Switchboard matting is a type of ESD matting. The matting is specifically designed for high voltage working environments. They are often seen around switch gears and motor control centers. A Plus Warehouse offers two different kinds of switchboard matting.
Diamond Deck Switchboard Matting
This type of matting is formulated to provide insulation to the worker from being grounded, thus making potentially dangerous electrical shocks significantly less likely. The mat is required for safety in front of high voltage, fuse boxes, and transformers.
Each square foot of that mat is tested and exceeds ANSI/ASTM D-178 specifications. It is made of Type II compound polyvinyl chloride. The recommended maximum usage on this mat is 17,000 volts.
Military Switchboard Deck Plate Runner
This switchboard matting is meant for the military. It is tested for sulfuric acid immersion, oxygen bomb aging and UV light exposure. The mat is also flame and slip resistant.
For Welding
Then we have our welding ESD mat. The mat is spark and flame resistant. When welding, hot sparks can often burn holes in floor surfaces and ignite a fire if you are not careful. This is why a welding mat is so important. Many welding mats also have anti-fatigue properties, since welders stand on these mats for many hours of the day.
Notrax Welding Mat
This mat is made with a pebble-embossed rubber top. This provides non-directional traction and makes the mat easy-to-clean. It is easier for welders to access with the 4 beveled edges. The mat has an overall thickness of ½” with top surface of SBR rubber. The top surface is also combined with a dense closed cell foam base. This decreases the chance of de-lamination.
Wearwell Welding Mat
This mat is made with an ergonomic sponge for fewer injuries. Customers can choose between 7/8” thick and 9/16” thick options. This mat offers the next level of resilience, traction, and ergonomics.
The mat boasts a 500-degree Fahrenheit ignition point, and nitricell ergonomic sponge. The product is NFSI certified and is customizable to the shape or size your need.
Entrance Matting
There are many types of mats meant for indoor use including anti-fatigue mats, ESD mats, entrance mats, and assembly line mats. These mats are not designed for the elements outside. When discussing indoor matting in the industry, you are most likely referring to entrance matting.
What is Entrance Matting?
Entrance matting is the type of matting used to scrape off your feet when transitioning from outside to inside. Dirt and water can ruin a valuable floor. Don’t let this happen! They also make for a beautiful and welcoming entrance way.
When ordering an entrance mat, our customers should consider denier. Denier is the thickness of the yarn strand. Thickness is an important factor for the performance and durability of the entrance mat. These mats get a lot of foot traffic, so our customers want to make sure they hold up.
All in One Entrance Mats
The all-in-one entrance mats provide three unique phases. The first phase removes debris, the second phase scrapes and starts the drying process, and the third phase finishes the drying process. This type of system is highly recommended for offices, hotels, and professional buildings.

Winter Matting
Entrance matting is especially important for the winter season. Snow would get into your indoor space otherwise. Nobody wants that!
Ice and Snow Melting Outdoor Mat
The ice and snow melting outdoor mats keep workers safe during the winter. The mat plugs into any normal outlet with a GFCI protected 6-foot power cord. It maintains a temperature of 40 degrees above ambient.
The snow melts at about 2 inches per hour. The heavy-duty rubber sandwiches the heating element.
Wearwell Outdoor Scraper Mat
The wearwell outdoor scraper mat is great for both single and double entry. The mat is reversible. For winter we recommend using the winter side that has clusters of stiff ridges to scrape heavier debris. The other side features rows of scrapers followed by quick-dry drainage ports.

Carpet matting offers many advantages such as slip resistance, scraping features, beauty, and durability. Carpet Mats are good for the workplace and at home.
Needlepunch
The needlepunch is a type of manufacturing process for carpet matting. The mat is engineered with a unique blend of 4 denier thicknesses of polypropylene yarn ranging from very fine to very thick. Due to the density of the yarn used in the process, products engineered in this way are more durable and offer better crush resistance and wearability.
Tufted
Tufted is an alternative to the needlepunch. These types of carpet mats are less dense and offer better moisture retention.
Waterhog Classic Waffle Carpet Mats
The waterhog classic waffle carpet mats feature crush proof scraping action with 24 OZ fabric. This makes it great for both indoor and outdoor use. The raised rubber water dam keeps water and debris in the waterhog and off the floor or carpet being protected.
Runner Mats
Runner mats are long and narrow making them ideal for hallways and other narrow high traffic areas. Runners also serve as additional protection to the floor.
Clear Carpet Runner Mats

Assembly Line Runners
The assembly line runners are made with connectable sections that can be configured to any length. The mat is made with non-porous rubber beveled edges around the entire perimeter. It is versatile for continuous use and is great for a workstation. The mat is available in 2 and 3 foot lengths.

Dry Area Matting

Boot Wash Station
The boot wash station cleans the bottom of shoes to keep germs and contaminants out of the workplace. The tray is 2.5” high and holds 2.5 quarts of sanitizing solution. The rigid tray is easy to fill and empty. The tray resists most chemicals.
Cleanroom Mats by Wearwell
